I was traveling to my parents place by way of train. I was actually asleep and woke up, trying to ignore the woman behind me who was obsessed with eating everything she got with her three dollar food coupon I decided to shoot some photo's out the window as the fog rolled in. This was actually under a bridge, I zoomed in and knew I was getting something I would probably never see again. The light was right, the fog was perfect, in the end, I think it was all luck I even got this shot.
I was trying to think of a title, and all of a sudden, this just amused me.
I like the finished resutl even though the image its quite noisy (the curse of digital cameras) I think it look nice enough but maybe you'd like to work the image a lilttle more, give it more clarity and get rid of the noise ^^
BTW im in love with your camera, its kinda cool that you took this with a camcorder
You are so lucky to capture this! I love this crazy errie atmosphere it got there!

I wasn't sure what this was when I looked at the thumbnail but it looked too interesting to miss. Awesome shot, it has a strange feel to it, almost like a graveyard,
It looks really spooky and almost surreal - the mist creeping into the frame gives this a sinister look, and the cross liiks especially eerie. I can't tell what this place is in fact, its looks so strange and dreamlike.
Like someone else mentioned, it would be nice to see if you can clear up the noise a little, although I've never found a technique that can do that without completely raping the picture >.< but it doesn't detract too much in the end so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
what I WILL definitely suggest though is to do away with the stripy border and instead just put one, thin white border. IMO this would look better - the black and the white in the border detract the attention away from the image itseld a little - being that black and white are so much contrasting to one another. can you see what I mean? :\ And really, I think such a large border is a little unnecessary.
it might also be a good idea to crop the image - pull the edges of the image itself in so that the content fills the frame rather than stopping some distance short, leaving empty space around itself, as it is now. I don't think it needs to be cropped from the bottem, as the thing at the front is quite dominating and I like it, but maybe from the sides and the top - try it, at least, and see how it looks ^^
maybe you could also make this a bit smaller, too, as the entire image doesn't fit on my monitor easily [and I have a standard resolution so other people will have the same problem here]
Overall I think this is really nice, its spooky and has an eerie and even lonely atmosphere to it. Its got a lot of depth and is very mysterious - I like it!
though, I forgot to mention - too big is too big, but too small is also too small and don't worry TOO much about the size. I usually don't mention it at all even if it IS too big, but I really couldn't see everything very well before.
now its very small and I think its perhaps too small? as the details are hard to pick out.
youknow its impossible to please everybody, since we all have different monitors, at the end of the day don't worry about it too much.
I like the black border. It works a lot more nicely.
